Focusing on helping clients better manage their business, Jeff consults on strategic planning, transition and valuation. Jeff frequently gives presentations to a variety of groups. With intense preparation, effective presentation skills and attention to detail, Jeff conveys his knowledge in a way that is easy to understand.
Among the many issues Jeff and his Valuation and Transition Planning team cover are acquisition analysis, gift, estate and income taxation, marital dissolution and dissenting shareholder disputes. Jeff takes pride in knowing that Porte Brown's Valuation Transition Planning team is able to "offer our clients highly competent, experienced, objective valuation services."
Clients typically range in size from $1 million to $50 million in revenue “ and all of them “ at one point or another, will be forced to deal with issues ranging from buying or selling a business and developing best practices to succession planning and understanding tax liabilities.
"With our counsel, clients understand the complexities of these issues and learn how to use the data they have as a value-added tool in their decision-making process," said Jeff.
Like many Porte Brown partners, Jeff began his career as a staff accountant at the firm. Porte Brown's entrepreneurial approach allows employees to follow their strengths, develop expertise and contribute to client success. Jeff became a partner in 2009.
